Corporate

AliX is getting close links with Novalyst Discovery, a chemistry-based contract research organization with strong expertise in organic synthesis, to offer expanded discovery services.
Novalyst provides outsourcing solutions spanning chemistry R&D support, specific synthesis services and custom synthesis from mg to subkilogram scale for cosmetic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and fine chemical companies.
Novalyst also develops R&D programs including discovery of novel bioactive molecules as well as proprietary enabling technologies to provide alternative approaches for exploration of synthetic pathways and for fast chemistry development.
AliX and Novalyst have joined their expertise to offer integrated solutions in structure- and fragment- based drug design to assist customers in their discovery programs for new therapeutic molecules.
Partnering with Graffinity

NovAliX (Illkirch, France) and Graffinity (Heidelberg, Germany) have agreed to provide integrated discovery services for fragment-based drug discovery to/interested life-science customers. The integration of these complementary capabilities leeds to an unique and unprecedented offering of discovery services using chemical microarrays, label-free SPR imaging of protein ligand-interactions, with subsequent mass-spectrometry full characterization of these interactions along with protein X-ray crystallography and medicinal chemistry.
Partnering with Qiagen

We are dedicated to offering the best quality services to our customers. To achieve this, we carefully choose our suppliers for the crystallization consumables we use during our gene-to-3D-structure workflow. We have chosen QIAGEN as a partner for their quality products, service, and reliability, and we highly recommend QIAGEN as a supplier of reagents, kits, and tools...
AliX uses QIAGEN products throughout its gene-to-3D-structure pipeline, including:
- molecular biology kits
- crystallization kits for systematic screening on our nanodrop crystallization robot
Academic
To enhance internal research and technology developments, AliX is nourishing tight collaboration with highly renown academic partners from CNRS and IGBMC (Strasbourg, France).
Département de Biologie génomique et structurale: Dr. Jean Paul Renaud's group ("transcription and epigenetic") for developing crystallographic approaches on new therapeutic targets.
Laboratoire de Spectrométrie de Masse Bio-Organique, headed by Dr. Alain Van Dorsselaer for the development of an automated platform dedicated to compound screening using non-covalent mass spectrometry.
Laboratoire des récepteurs orphelins, cofacteurs et métabolisme, directed by Dr. Johan Auwerx & Dr. Kristina Schoonjans for providing animal models for target ID and validation.
Institutions
Thank you to the various institutions for helping AliX getting started and to keep growing and developing technologies and internal programs.
