2009 Merger with Novalyst Discovery, NovAliX inception
2007 Relocation and process automation
In january 2006, AliX has left ESBS incubator to relocate on Illkirch Bioparc. Constantly seeking for improved efficacy in routine processes, AliX successfully automated protein purification.
2005 Equipment expansion
Constant increase in research contracts allowed AliX to acquire additional equipment and setup a complete in-house gene-to-structure platform.
2003 Business gets started
First contract for X-ray protein structure determination.
2002 Inception
AliX won a French national technology venture competition with its innovative approach of using protein X-ray cystallography to support R&D programs from the pharmaceutical industry.
AliX was a Spin-off from IGBMC structural biology and genomics department headed by Dino Moras, Ph.D. (Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology, Strasbourg - Illkirch).
It was founded by the following scientists : Dr. J.P. Renaud, Dr. D. Moras, Dr. J.C. Thierry, Dr. M. Yusupov, Dr. O. Poch, Dr. J. Cavarelli, Dr. M. Ruff and Dr. J.M. Wurtz.
